Spectrum Named a Finalist in the 2026 Architecture Photography Awards

August 2026 · Award · Architecture Photography Awards · Spectrum

Spectrum has been selected as a finalist in the 2026 Architecture Photography Awards.

Photographed at a public school in Hong Kong, Spectrum uses colour, repetition and architectural structure to reconsider an environment designed primarily around function.

Strong bands of colour divide and organise the building, turning the everyday architecture of education into something more graphic and abstract. The photograph reflects a wider interest in our relationship with the built environments we inhabit, and in the point at which familiar architecture begins to operate as something more ambiguous or surreal.
