Veiled Facade Selected for TRUTH(S) at Cape Town Photography Festival

4 September 2026 · Exhibition · Cape Town Central Library, South Africa · Veiled Facade

Veiled Facade will be shown in TRUTH(S), an international group exhibition presented as part of the 2026 Cape Town Photography Festival.

Running throughout September, this year’s festival takes TRUTH as its central theme, examining photography’s relationship with belief, memory, power and the different ways in which truths can be constructed, questioned and resisted.

My contribution, Veiled Facade, comes from Intervals, an ongoing body of work concerned with pauses, thresholds and moments when familiar environments begin to lose their fixed function. Rather than presenting place as a passive backdrop, the project considers how a shift in attention can alter our emotional and perceptual relationship with a space.

The exhibition will take place at Cape Town Central Library, with its official opening on Friday 4 September, 3–5pm.
